Our Founders

 

Lloyd M.
Co-Founder

Lloyd is a graduate of the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania, with a degree in Finance. For three years, he was a Senior Programmer at Wharton’s Alfred West Jr. Learning Lab, where he deployed innovative financial and investment simulations for the classroom. While there, he served as the lead developer for a trading simulation (OTIS) which is used by over 80 universities worldwide.

He was also a Senior Consultant for Clarity Systems (now IBM), where he led client-side development for a large forecasting application deployed globally for Alcon Labs.

Lloyd is excited about building Ivy Global into a first-class education company and using technology to transform the classroom.

Junho S.
Co-Founder

Junho is a graduate of McMaster University in Canada with an honors degree in Chemistry. He previously worked in the pharmaceutical industry for over 5 years, including with pharmaceutical giants Bristol-Myers Squibb and DuPont. He is passionate about entrepreneurship and started a successful vitamin distribution business.

After meeting Lloyd, Junho saw an opportunity to start a company that would help students through the entire admissions process for US colleges, beyond just SAT preparation or consulting. They shared a passion for changing education and saw an opportunity to assemble an elite team of instructors and consultants to achieve their vision.

Today, Junho runs Ivy Global's education consultancy. He has helped numerous students with academic guidance and college admissions planning, and coordinates with Ivy Global's essay experts in helping students improve their odds of admissions.
