Matt F.
Princeton University

Matt graduated from Princeton University with a major in History. While there, he was a member of the American Whig-Cliosophic Socity, the oldest college political, literary, and debating society in the world. While in high school, he graduated in the top 3 and was Head Prefect of a top boarding school.

Matt scored in the 99th percentile on the SAT and has extensive tutoring experience, including specifically preparing students for the SAT and SSAT. He is an avid reader, and enjoys playing sports and sailing.



Natalie Y.
Harvard University

Natalie graduated cum laude from Harvard University in 2009 in Anthropology and Linguistics. She also won numerous Harvard fellowships to conduct research in the Middle East and Europe, including the President's Discretionary Fund for the Middle East, the Harvard College Research Program, the Dean's Summer Research Awards, and the Goelet Fund for Anthropology.

Natalie scored 1510 out of 1600 on the SAT, and on the GRE earned 740 on Verbal (99th percentile) and a perfect 800 on Math. She has over 6 years of private tutoring experience and has taught English in the French Public School System.

Matt S.
Harvard University

Matt graduated cum laude from Harvard University with a degree in Comparative Literature. He was the recipient of a Harvard-Cambridge Fellowship and a Harvard Faculty Scholarship, and also studied high level mathematics before focusing his studies on literature. While at Harvard, Matt directed and designed numerous theatrical productions and wrote a column for the Harvard Crimson.

Matt scored 2330 (99th percentile) on the SAT with a perfect 800 on the Math section. He also had perfect 800 scores on the SAT II Math Level 2 and Physics exams. Jason P.

Jason graduated from Yale Phi Beta Kappa and Magna Cum Laude with a degree in History. While at Yale, he acted in numerous productions, sang in the Yale Glee Club, played on the Quidditch Team, and was a member of the literary society St. Anthony Hall.

Jason is a gifted instructor with experience teaching students from a variety of backgrounds. Ainslie K.

Ainslie graduated magna cum laude from Brown University in 2006 in Comparative Literature. While there, she served as writer, editor and executive editor for Brown University's The Critical Review.

Elizabeth S.

Elizabeth is a concert flutist currently enrolled in the Flute Performance program at the New England Conservatory of Music. After declining an offer of admission to Princeton University in order to pursue her music career, Elizabeth spent a year studying flute performance at Carnegie Mellon University before moving to Boston. During this time she was named an NCAA Division III All-Region Cross Country athlete and a member of the NCAA All-Academic Team and received the prestigious Carnegie Mellon Tartan Athletic Award for her achievements in both running and academics. Elizabeth currently supplements her music studies with for-credit academic coursework in literature and psychology at Harvard and Tufts University, and has maintained a straight-A average across her academic career.

Elizabeth achieved an SAT score of 2320 (760 Critical Reading, 760 Math, and 800 Writing) as well as perfect scores on the AP English Literature, AP English Language, AP Latin Literature exams. She has extensive experience tutoring students in standardized admissions exams and academic subjects, and is particularly skilled in helping students overcome performance or test anxiety, improve their writing and reading skills, and put together strong college applications. Adam graduated with Honors BA in English from Cornell University and MFA in Poetry from Columbia University. He scored 1530 out of a possible 1600 on his SAT I, and a perfect score of 240 on his PSAT. He took various SAT II Subject tests, scoring 800 in Math IIc, 750 in Writing, 780 in Physics, and 750 in Chemistry. While in high school, Adam was so proficient at both math and verbal that he was allowed to take SAT Prep classes for free in exchange for providing one-on-one help to other students. Rory S.
Harvard University

Rory is a PhD candidate at Harvard University studying Government. He also graduated Magna Cum Laude with an MA in Religious Studies from Hebrew University of Jerusalem.

He has extensive experience as a classroom instructor for both SAT and GRE preparation courses and has privately tutored students for standardized tests. His students have gone on to schools like Harvard and MIT. His former students include Shanae Grimes, who plays the lead role in the hit show 90210.

He has received numerous awards and scholarships for his studies, including the Harvard University Graduate Fellowship. Rory has also worked at a hedge fund and has been a world champion debater.



Pamela T.

Pamela graduated magna cum laude from the University of Pennsylvania with a degree in English. While there, she was on the Dean's list and studied abroad for a year at Oxford University. She continued her studies in the UK at the University of York, graduating with a Masters degree in Eighteenth Century Studies.

She scored 1460 out of 1600 on the SATs and a perfect 800 on the SAT Writing section. She has a wealth of professional experience, ranging from working in public relations, as a freelance writer and as a web editor. In addition, she wrote and performed in comedy sketches for Bloomers and was a humor editor for 34th Street Magazine. She is fluent in French and Hebrew and takes avid interest in women's roles and rights.



Andrea T.
Northwestern University

Andrea graduated from Northwestern University with dual Masters degrees in Learning Disabilities and Speech-Language Pathology. She also completed her undergraduate degree at Northwestern where she was on the Dean's List.

She has over 6 years of experience teaching students of all ages, in both a classroom and one-on-one setting. Andrea is also able to pass on to students her knowledge of standardized tests, having scored 770 SAT I Verbal, 700 SAT I Math, 770 SAT Writing and 800 in SAT French. She also scored in the 99th percentile on the SSAT.

She especially enjoys helping students improve their writing, articulation and language skills. She is truly passionate about tailoring her work to each student during individual sessions and planning inclusive lessons for larger classes.


Gideon N.
Brown University

Gideon graduated from Brown University, with an Honours Bachelors of Science degree in Environmental Sciences. While at Brown, Gideon won an Undergraduate Teaching and Research award for his research on environmental projects.

Gideon is intimately familiar with the structure and style of standardized tests and is adept in preparing students for them. He scored in the 99th percentile on the SAT Reasoning Test and has extensive experience teaching students how to improve their standardized test scores. He has also excelled in math competitions, including placing 2nd in the American Mathematics Contest.

In addition to helping students with their standardized tests, Gideon is skilled at helping students with their application essays. He helps students brainstorm and craft essays that will set their applications apart.



Eugene H.
California Institute of Technology

Eugene completed his undergraduate degree at the prestigious California Institute of Technology, and a PhD from University of Bonn in Germany. He was an Assistant Professor of Mathematics at Johns Hopkins University, where he taught undergraduate math courses for 3 years.

Eugene has extensive teaching and tutoring experience, having taught undergraduate math classes ranging in size from 5 to 200 students and privately tutoring students in math and science. Jaymin K.

Jaymin is currently pursuing a degree in Social Studies at Harvard University. She has won numerous accolades for her academics, including winning the Governor General Award and achieving the highest average in her region. She scored a perfect 2400 on her SATs, a feat only accomplished by about 200 students of 1.4 million test takers a year.

She brings much experience with tutoring and instructing, and is passionate about helping students academically succeed. She is also an avid debator, having participated in national competitions and at the Harvard Speech and Parliamentary Debate Society. Shilpa M.

Shilpa is currently a PhD candidate at Harvard University. She graduated from Queen's University with a degree in Cognitive Science. She won an entrance scholarship to Queen's and was on the Dean's list while there. She completed a Masters degree from the University of St Andrews in Scotland, studying developmental psychology and linguistics.

She is gifted in taking standardized tests, having scored 1590 (out of 1600) on the SAT and above the 98th percentile on the GRE, SAT subject tests and several math contests including the COMC and Euclid. She also brings extensive experience in developing and delivering educational programming. She has conducted innovative research on the language acquisition abilities of children and adults, which has led to ongoing publications in top-tier academic journals.
