Leadership Development for High School Students
Today, top colleges are looking for leaders and 71% of hiring managers value leadership skills over IQ in an employee. Despite this, leadership skills are rarely taught at the high school level. During this seminar, we will give an overview of what leadership is and discuss some of the life skills and habits that serve students both in the college admissions process and beyond.

How to Write Winning College Essays
Ivy Global’s college essay workshop provides an overview of the best
strategies for brainstorming and drafting personal essays that will stand
out in the competitive college admissions process. The workshop addresses
the requirements for the Common Application essay, as well as coordination
among individual school supplements. Each workshop is conducted by one of
Ivy Global’s experienced essay editors, who are experts in helping
students brainstorm and draft compelling essays that strongly convey each
student’s unique background, passions, and personal voice.
Director of College Counseling
Junho has led Ivy Global's College Counseling division since 2007.
He has personally helped close to 500 students navigate the college
admissions process and get into top colleges. The number of students
who have got into top colleges are in the double digits for such schools
as Harvard, Princeton, Yale, UPenn, Cornell and Columbia. See our results
Jason graduated from Yale University with a degree in History. He was
a member of Phi Beta Kappa and graduated with Magna Cum Laude honors.
Jason is one of Ivy Global's most experienced instructors. He is particularly
passionate about helping students improve their writing. He helps students
craft compelling admissions essays.
He speaks Arabic, is fluent in French, and has a reading knowledge of Latin and Old Norse. When not tutoring, he works as an actor and writer, and loves to play guitar.
Through his extensive dedication to education, Jay has established a perfect success rate of matriculating clients to their desired universities. While at Ivy Global, Jay has functioned as a tutor, consultant, and coveted mentor. Jay earned his B.A. in English and Philosophy from Wesleyan University before receiving Columbia Universityís Masterís degree in English Education.
Kristin Rose graduated from Stanford University with a B.A. in English
Literature. After college, she worked in science publishing at Pearson
Education and The New York Times Digital, then became involved in microbiology
and neurogenetics research at Yale University. Kristin then received
with her M.F.A. in Fiction and Poetry from Fairfield University, where
she is currently an adjunct professor. She conducted college interviews
for Stanford University admissions for two years and is passionate about
helping students navigate the admissions process. She is excited to
work with students to help them craft original and captivating essays.
